Safaricom was the top mover at the bourse with a volume of 9.99 Million shares traded followed by KenGen 4.66 Million, Equity 2.42 Million, Kenya Reinsurance 1.82 Million and Equity Group 1.45 Million.
The biggest loser was Kenya Orchards whose price dipped by 9.80% to Ksh 11.05, followed by Stanlib Fahari REIT which was down 7.01% to Ksh 5.04, Home Afrika, Uchumi and KenGen whose prices fell down by 6.82%, 6.45% and 6.34% to Ksh 0.41, Ksh 0.29 and Ksh 5.02 respectively.
Top gainers were led by TPS East Africa(Serena) whose share price rose 6.75% to KSh 16.65, Umeme Limited up 5.81% to Ksh 7.28, Nation Media, Total and BAT.
The secondary bond market had a turnover of Ksh 3.01 billion transacted in 73 deals compared to Ksh 2.11 billion traded yesterday.
